Susan Barton founded Bright Solutions for Dyslexia in 1998, to educate parents and teachers on dyslexia and assist them with finding the appropriate resources and support.

Susan is trained in seven different Orton-Gillingham based programs and teaches graduate-level courses through the University of San Diego.  In 2009, Susan was inducted into the International Dyslexia Association's Hall of Honor for her work and dedication in the field of dyslexia.
